As you grew up in this world you were indoctrinated to your cultures values, mores, and ideas of who you should be. This indoctrination encompasses all areas of society and behavior with very little room for individuality.
Should you choose to behave in a way that is not approved by your family or culture, you risk the extreme of maybe the minimum of repeated lectures about your behavior all the way to the extreme of a death sentence because your family is “shamed” by your behavior.
If you are in an environment where you cannot escape, please know that you are loved by Beings who may be physically intangible but have the greatest power in the universe – Love. While it may not be immediately apparent how living in this environment benefits you, know that while they may have the ability to affect your physical state no one can yet regulate your thoughts and feelings. You can choose to behave in a way that keeps you physically safe yet you can still use your mind and your heart to be true to yourself.
If you are in an environment where you have freedom, take a moment to reflect on those who are unfortunately not as blessed as you. Reflect on those whose physical circumstances may include destitution and poverty, abuse of all types, physical disfigurement, legal measures applied to suppress and repress, and religious institutions that utilize the law and society to impose harsh restrictions upon the way someone lives their life.
Male or female makes no difference just as creed does not – all societies are capable of abusing its’ citizens to justify its existence.
Take that knowledge and help yourself now. You may live in an environment where you don’t have what you feel you need to make a change – but you do. You have your mind and you have your intuition and your sense of right and wrong. You have the ability to make a change for yourself, so if you can – do it!
One of the worst things an individual can do is turn their back on themselves and embrace the viewpoint of others.
Know that the Angelics and the Creator love you beyond this life and that you need only to learn to love yourself as well. For some, that is the hardest lesson in the world – self love.
Self love is not the same as narcissism; it is the ability to put oneself at the top of the list of people to care for instead of the middle or the bottom. What you would do for those in your life that you love – do it for yourself first.
This is so hard for so many individuals. So many people I know who are in the healing arts environment could wear this sign because they are always doing for others yet not doing for themselves. At the end, they end up drained and exhausted and sometimes physically ill and as clueless as the next person as to why they are feeling that way when they are doing good by helping others.
The airplane is going down – you have to put your own airmask on first before you can help anyone else. It is time to do just that.
I know I am.
